A landmark home in the Estate Section of the Town of Palm Beach has sold for $19.8 million.

The 16,021-square-foot mansion at 4 El Bravo Way changed hands on Feb. 14, according to Palm Beach County records. The county recorded the transaction Tuesday. A trust controlled by James Held is the seller.

JAN Holdings is the buyer of the 5-bedroom, 6-bathroom mansion. The New York company is managed by James Goldrick of KKR Financial Services.

The Addison Mizner-designed house is known in the town as El Castillo, according to the Palm Beach Daily News. It won a Ballinger Award for historic preservation four years ago.

El Castillo is the second-most expensive home to be sold in 2014, behind the nearly $29 million sale of 445 Antigua Lane earlier this month. — Eric Kalis
