PB Gardens residential project gets approval

Gardenia Isles site plan

Gardenia Isles site plan

The Kolter Group has received approval from Palm Beach Gardens council members to develop Gardenia Isles.

Kolter can proceed with the 21-home project planned for nearly 10 acres at the northwest corner of Military Trail and Gardenia Drive, the Palm Beach Post reported. The development site is located near Trinity United Methodist Church. A gated community, Gardenia Isles is expected to include a mix of Mediterranean and Tuscan-style homes with tile roofs, decorative shutters and rounded windows.

A neighboring community association had attempted to acquire the site from the church to protect its entrance. It was not able to secure enough community votes to proceed.

The City Council also approved a site plan for a 138-bed assisted living facility planned for Jog Road. [Palm Beach Post]Eric Kalis
