Jeffrey Soffer and Elle Macpherson and Indian Creek
Billionaire developer Jeffrey Soffer and his supermodel wife Elle Macpherson have obtained an $18 million mortgage for their Indian Creek mansion, The Real Deal has learned.
The couple received the loan from JPMorgan Chase Bank on Jan. 23, according to Miami-Dade County records. The county recorded the transaction last Thursday. The mortgage matures in February 2044.
Soffer paid $5.3 million for the waterfront 80,000-square-foot property at 27 Indian Creek Drive in 2000. A nine-bedroom, nearly 24,000-square-foot mansion was completed in 2006. It is one of the largest homes in Miami-Dade County.
The developer is currently fighting a $100 million wrongful death lawsuit in Miami-Dade Circuit Court. — Eric Kalis
