State marketing large PB County site

Former A.G. Holley State Hospital

Former A.G. Holley State Hospital

The Florida Department of Environmental Protection is marketing the former site of the state’s last tuberculosis hospital in Palm Beach County.

About 18 months after the hospital closed, the department’s Division of State Lands has put out a call for bids for the nearly 80-acre site, News Service of Florida reported. The minimum bid is $9 million. Commercial real estate firm Cushman & Wakefield of Florida is marketing the site on the state’s behalf.

Offers are due by Jan. 29.

The site is considered the largest available mixed-use industrial tract east of I-95 in Palm Beach County. [News Service of Florida]Eric Kalis
