The developer proposing a condo project at the waterfront Chapel-by-the-Lake site in West Palm Beach is set to present plans with fewer units.

Revised development plans remove three floors from one of the two proposed condo towers and cut the amount of units from 96 to 76, the Palm Beach Post reported. The project could also revert to the original plan of just one condo tower. The developers, led by Al Adelson, have asked West Palm Beach commissioners to move a scheduled vote on the project from Jan. 6 to Jan. 21.

First Baptist Church has a pending deal to sell the 3.2-acre site to Adelson for $23 million. Condo prices would start at $5 million under the current development plan. [Palm Beach Post]Eric Kalis
