The hacienda-style Kendall home of incarcerated Hall of Famer O.J. Simpson sold yesterday at a foreclosure auction for $655,000.

A third-party bidder known as TK Miami LLC won the bid for the one-story house at 9450 Southwest 112th Street, the Daily Business Review reported. The lender might file a deficiency judgment Simpson to cover the $237,000 shortfall of the $892,000 that he owed JPMorgan Chase bank.

In August, a Miami-Dade County judge ordered the bank to seize the 4,233-square-foot property more than two years after a foreclosure action was filed, as previously reported. Simpson, who is serving time in a Nevada prison after being convicted of robbery and kidnapping in 2008, stopped paying the mortgage in 2010. He bought it in 2000 for $575,000.

The county property appraiser last assessed the four-bedroom house, which sits on 1.65 acres, at $487,433, the Daily Business Review said. [Daily Business Review]Mark Maurer
