Seasoned commercial real estate lender Terri Echarte has joined Coral Gables-based Gibraltar Private Bank & Trust as a senior vice president, the bank said in a release.
In addition to working as the private bank and wealth advisor of high net worth individuals, foundations and non-profits, Echarte originate loans for existing and planned commercial real estate, residential construction and permanent financing, according to the release.
A graduate of Boston College, Echarte earned an MBA at the University of Miami. She worked for a decade at Bank of America as a senior vice president in the commercial real estate lending group before moving to Holliday Fenoglio Fowler, a national real estate investment banking company, where as managing director she was responsible for arranging debt financing for offices, hotels, retail, residential and mixed-use real estate projects, primarily in Florida.
Before joining Gibraltar, Echarte was with Atlantic | Pacific Companies as a managing director where she focused on developing the company’s property, asset management and real estate advisory services. — Emily Schmall
