Half of the units at Baltus House, a 15-story condo on the edge of Miami’s Design District, were reserved in 30 days, according to developers Related Group and Strategic Properties.

The Baltus Collection, a high-end contemporary Spanish furniture store, designed the building’s interiors and furnishings as South Florida developers compete for buyers with increasingly extravagant flourish.

“Baltus House was meticulously designed to bring residents an exquisite living experience,” Baltus Collection founder, designer Javier Martin, said in a release.

Artwork from the personal collection of Related co-founder Jorge Pérez will grace the lobby walls. The building’s private gallery will also boast work by Lluís Barba, a Barcelona artist favored by Pérez, and a garage mural by Venezuelan artist Jaime Gili.

Baltus House is slated to break ground in September.
