County music star Alan Jackson sold his beachfront mansion in Jupiter Island for $10.45 million, $5 million less than the original listing price.
A denizen of South Florida for more than a decade, Jackson sold the 8,700-square-foot house nestled between the Atlantic Ocean and Intracoastal Waterway through a series of trusts, according to Gossip Extra.
The house boasts free standing guest quarters, a dining loggia and French doors with water views throughout.
With docks for up to five boats, Jackson spent most of his time in Jupiter deep-sea fishing or having beers at a nearby tiki bar, the website said.
The buyer of the house at 617 South Beach Road is Philadelphia businessman Bill McDermott, a director at the sports apparel company Under Armour. [Gossip Extra] – Emily Schmall
